Valentino Rossi is optimistic with GP12 1000cc motorcycle engine that will be used, for that Ducati should be more hard work to make things better for the bike.
Within two days of tests that took place at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Ducati GP12 which had been repairing started using aluminum chassis. Although the chassis is still a constraint Ducati, but not with the power of the engine.
In this second test, as well as the first test, Rossi managed to finish in sixth. "This is a two-day test is very important because we need to collect data to work in a few months later, which is very crucial," said Rossi.
Rossi added that the positive thing is clearly the engine of the motorcycle, which he likes and the fact that the engine is more easily controlled than ever so more enjoyable.
As is known, began the 2012 season, Ducati will wear aluminum chassis, the same as that used Japanese motorcycles. Regarding this new chassis, Rossi admitted his team still have to develop it.
"Chassis motor is not too bad, but it must continue to work. We have to improve braking, because I have to brake harder and a little late. We also have to improve traction when the motor is being accelerated," explains Rossi.
"Filippo [Preziosi] have many ideas and we have little time to apply all of them, before the official test later in the season ahead," said Valentino Rossi
