Copa Del Rey: Malaga 0-1 Real Madrid

Real Madrid ensure a place in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey awaiting their eternal enemies, Barcelona in the quarterfinals. Real Madrid successfully bend Malaga with a score of 1-0 thanks to goals from French national team single-striker Karim Benzema.

In this fight Jose Mourinho 4-3-3 formation lowered by placing Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain up front. Khedira, Xabi Alonso and Lassana Diara strengthen the midfield. While in the back, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos and Coentrao become the last bastion of Iker Casillas.

At the beginning of the first half, Real Madrid had the ball more, but they are difficult to penetrate the host defense meeting that rely on counterattacks.

In the second half, overly cautious attitude was shown both teams because the ball spins too much in midfield.

Caballero's performance deserves special credit. At 64 minutes, captivating action again to save the net from the threat of Ronaldo's header from a free-standing in the penalty box.
