David Beckham was selected in the MLS Best XI for the first time with his teammates on the Los Angeles Galaxy Landon Donovan, Omar Gonzalez, and Todd Dunivant.

In the last season of five-year contract worth U.S. $ 32.5 million, Beckham posted his best performance in the MLS with 15 assists in 26 appearances during the Galaxy posted their best record in the regular season.
